Josh: Sure, a chance to haggle is always better than a shut door! However, keep in mind that to haggle correctly takes preparation on your part. A good media sales rep needs to take the time to plan his/her haggling session. What are you going to be willing to give up? What do you need to get from the other side of the table? What other items can you put on the table to make sure that the negotiation is not just about price...?
