I've done a lot of Linkinars and they really are simple. Here's a few tips I recommend based on mistakes I've made:
1. Number the links. When you give your presentation you don't want to have to read the link aloud to direct your audience. Just number them, then you can say, "Now let's all click on link #3." Simple.
2. Post the actual URL. After I did a few Linkinars I got fancy. I posted the name of the articles and web pages I wanted to link to and embedded the URL into them. Somehow several of the article names got connected to the URL just below it. This bogged down the whole Linkinar and I didn't get to link to some important content. If you have the actual URL posted below the article name, anyone can just copy and paste it not their web browser.
3. Test the links before the audience shows up. You want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, and a broken link can cause a lot of trouble mid-presentation.
